Kayla Ueligger joined the Department of Social Services with the Children’s Division in 2013 and currently serves as a Project Manager to lead and enhance projects such as Families First Prevention Services Act, House Bill 1414, and Structure and Workforce support. Throughout Kayla’s career with the Children’s Division, she has served in all areas of child protection including frontline work, supervision, and leadership development through all steps of the child protection process. In her current position, Kayla is dedicated to leadership development, process improvement, and growth to improve the service and protection of our most vulnerable citizens. Kayla is active in the Operational Excellence community with the Department of Social Services and received her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2019. Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish, a Master’s of Social Work, and is a licensed social worker in the State of Missouri.
