Leah currently serves as a Human Resources (HR) Manager for the Department of Economic Development (DED). Within her role, Leah is responsible for supporting the DED Leadership Team regarding hiring, compensation, employee relations, payroll and professional development. She leads DED's efforts to ensure all team members receive top-quality HR support and DED remains constantly plugged into statewide initiatives and best practices. Leah has worked for the State of Missouri since 2015. Leah worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development and has held other various HR roles outside of state government for 18 years. Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University in 2004 and obtained her Society of Human Resources Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in June 2021.
