Bio

Jennifer Hentges has worked for the Missouri Department of Agriculture since December 2015 as the Director of Human Resources and in 2017 had the opportunity to also start serving as the Operational Excellence lead for the Department. She oversees the Departments strategic priorities, critical measures, all functions of payroll, hiring & onboarding, coaching and disciplinary actions, internal communications, as well as policy development and implementation. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Columbia College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from William Woods University. She completed The Missouri Way in the fall of 2018 and her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Leadership Course from The Ohio State University in the summer of 2019.
