Bio

Shad joined DED in March 2019 after serving a variety of roles in the public and private sector, including VP of the Cape Chamber and most recently as VP of Business Development in charge of small market expansion for carGO, a ride-share and food delivery startup. In his role as Southeast Regional Manager he is responsible for building relationships with communities and businesses to help facilitate economic growth. Shad has managed more than a dozen projects representing 1,500+ new jobs and more than $250M in private investment, as well as $10M+ in grant dollars for community infrastructure. Additionally, he has been active in Missouri’s COVID response, including working with Director Dixon to oversee the Phase 1B & 2 Microcell team. Shad is a 2020 graduate of the Delta Leadership Institute.
