Travis is the Director of Business Systems with DHSS DSDS. In his current role, Travis oversees the strategic direction of DSDS' IT project portfolio across several programs, including HCBS and Adult Protective Services. Since graduating the Missouri Leadership Academy, Travis served as a Project Manager with the Department of Mental Health's Division of Developmental Disabilities. While attending the Missouri Leadership Academy, Travis served as the Bureau Chief of the Bureau of Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) Systems & Data Reporting within the Department of Health and Senior Services' (DHSS) Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS). In this role, Travis oversaw the management and operations of HCBS systems supporting HCBS service authorizations for Missouri Medicaid beneficiaries. In addition, Travis oversaw the collection, maintenance, and distribution of HCBS program data to Missouri executive departments, HCBS program staff, and community stakeholders. Travis attended Missouri State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Travis’s biggest takeaway from Missouri Leadership Academy was a valuable opportunity to work and learn alongside my peers. The Academy helped me understand the unique challenges we all face as public servants and more importantly - how we can work together to solve problems.
