Antonio is the Associate Superintendent at a state-operated, level-one correctional facility in St. Louis City that houses approximately 200 male probationers and/or parolees. Antonio started his career with the Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer I at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center in January 1999. In his current position as Associate Superintendent, he oversees operations and helps to ensure the safety and security of staff, residents and the community. He also acts as the facility's Prison Rape Elimination Act Coordinator. Antonio serves on the department FMLA Compliance Committee and divisional committees such as the Facilities Management Team and Manual Work Group. He was also selected as employee of the month in May 2022 by his colleagues. Antonio has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lindenwood University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University.
