Bio

Chase joined the Department of Economic Development in 2019 and serves as Communications Manager to promote initiatives strengthening communities and creating jobs. Whether through written or digital media, Chase helps tell the stories that show how DED helps Missourians prosper. He enjoys working with the department's divisions and teams to learn more about his colleagues, their work, and how to represent its impact to the public. Prior to DED, Chase worked for the Missouri House of Representatives for five legislative sessions. Originally from rural southeast Missouri, Chase resides in Jefferson City with his wife and two children, where he serves in his local church. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
