Bio

Andy joined the Missouri Department of Conservation in July 2020 and has been in the professional design field since 1998. He was licensed to practice Architecture in 2014 after several years of apprenticeship under prominent local architects. He has been involved with the design of everything from a "she-shed" to a recreation center and playgrounds to ballfield complexes. While working through college, he was a lot manager at a local rental store and worked several freelance construction jobs for extensive hands-on experience. Current Job duties include architectural building design, consulting field staff on code requirements and design problems, coordinating outside design consultants and project management. In addition, Andy is a Missouri-registered high school and youth wrestling official. Andy is a graduate of Moberly Sr. High School and the University of Missouri- Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design.
